Erika Coates is the CFO of Brainerd Chemical, a locally owned chemical distributor and manufacturer. Prior to joining Brainerd in 2009, Erika worked in a variety of industries including construction, pharmacy and real estate auction for both private and publicly traded companies. Upon completing her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas, Erika spent two years with Ernst & Young in Tulsa. She also has her MBA from Oklahoma State. Erika has her CPA license from her home state of Colorado. Erika’s professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to her role as TCOSCPA Chairman, Erika served as Vice-Chairman, Treasurer and Members in Industry Committee Chair.

Erika lives in Broken Arrow and enjoys spending time reading, working out, and supporting her daughter in playing soccer.

Deborah Vanderveen

Deborah runs an accounting practice, Allcom Administrative Services, PLLC. She earned her BS in accounting and her MBA from Oklahoma State University, graduating with honors. Deborah has more than 30 years public accounting experience including 5+ years with Ernst & Young. She enjoys public service and has done a wide variety of services including serving on the United States Foundation for the Children of Haiti board, mentoring and tutoring incarcerated juveniles for 10 years, and international training for the prison ministry and program director at her church. She is a member of the TCOSCPA, OSCPA, AICPA and serves on the tax committee of the Oklahoma Tax Institute.

She has 4 grown children, 7 grandchildren and enjoys kayaking, motorcycling, biking, hiking, working out, traveling, cooking, gardening, reading and spending time with friends and family in her spare time.

Kristin is the Tax Manager at Aaon, Inc., a manufacturer based in Tulsa. She has worked in tax her entire career, starting out in public accounting. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tulsa and her Master’s degree in Accounting from The University of Central Arkansas. Kristin has been an active board member on the Tulsa Chapter since 2017, after serving on several committees a few years prior to that. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Oklahoma Society of CPAs, and beginning in 2018, is on the planning committee for the University of Tulsa Conference of Accountants.

Kristin is married and has 1 sone and a dog. She is involved in her church, and she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, working out, reading, going to movies, and listening to good music.

Andrew Habiger

Andrew is the Director of Corporate Accounting and Military Compliance for NORDAM in Tulsa, OK, one of the world’s largest independently owned aerospace companies. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tulsa in 2002, Andrew went on to earn his MBA from Oklahoma State University in Tulsa in 2006. He earned his CPA in Oklahoma in 2008 and has shown progressive professional advancement in industry since that time. His professional passions lie in developing employee talent, global enterprise system implementations (on SAP implementation team for NORDAM in 2013), government contract compliance and accounting, managerial reporting, manufacturing and MRO cost accounting, and creating and executing company strategic solutions.

Andrew lives in Jenks and in his spare time enjoys coaching his two sons’ sports teams, playing competitive tennis, running, and volunteering on Mondays at the South Tulsa Community House Food Bank.

Julie Shorrosh

Julie is the CFO of Aberdeen Dynamics, a local employee-owned hydraulic and pneumatic parts distributor and manufacturer. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University, Julie earned her CPA while working in oil and gas, including 13 years with Williams Companies. She then left Williams to move with her family to Europe, enjoying time volunteering, travelling and being a full-time mom to her two sons. After returning to the US, Julie worked as an independent accounting contractor, then accepted a Controller position, and subsequently built on her experience as Controller for various manufacturing companies before moving to Aberdeen Dynamics. She is a long-time member of the TCOSCPA, OSCPA, and AICPA.

Julie lives in south Tulsa with her husband, and enjoys cooking, reading, going to Pilates classes, and playing viola in a local community orchestra.
